Father, I thank You for giving them the opportunity to compete in sports. I ask that You bless their efforts in everything they do. Thank You for energizing them and giving them strength. I plead the blood of Jesus over them so no harm may come to them. I know You’re charging Your angels to watch and protect them.
Your Word says that You’ve given us self-control, so I declare they won’t get frustrated with their coaches, teammates, or opponents. Holy Spirit, remind my children to walk in love with those around them so patience can have its perfect work.
Thank You for Your promise that they can do all things through Christ Jesus, who gives them strength. Holy Spirit, remind them of this promise. Help them not give up when things become difficult.
I ask that You help them stay humble when they’re victorious, knowing it’s You who’s anointing them. Help them remain confident when they lose. Remind them to keep their focus on You. Help them be a witness for You in every situation.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
