T H E   P R O D I G A L

Father, help me be an example of Your love without compromising Your standards. Lead me and guide me as I walk by faith concerning my child.

I lift them up to You right now and place them in Your hands. I plead the Blood of Jesus around their life and speak peace to the storm of their soul. I remain confident and full of faith, for Your Word says that the seed of the righteous will be delivered.

They belong to You. They were created for Your plans and purposes. Therefore, the enemy may not have them! I know You are not a man that You should lie. You are faithful to Your Word. And Your Word says that You will finish what You started. So I choose to rejoice, knowing You are the author and finisher of their faith.

I ask that You send someone to speak an encouraging and corrective word to them. Holy Spirit, give them a longing for Your presence. Open their eyes. Let them see Your truth with clarity. Help them turn back and come running after You! And when they do, may they have double for their trouble.
